Henrico Civic Action is a coalition of concerned citizens and organizations working to build a healthy Henrico County through organizing, advocacy and community building.
We unite local organizations and individuals working on local issues regarding conservation, equitable and smart development in Henrico, Virginia
We organize rapid response campaigns to address critical issues, including Data Center Expansion, historical & land conservation, & environmental issues
We provide an inclusive opportunity for Henrico citizens of all organizing backgrounds to participate in advocacy on behalf of their community
Henrico Civic Action (HCA) was formed by a group of concerned citizens & former members of the Henrico Conservation Action Network (HCAN)– a coalition and 501(c)(3) that formed to protect clean water, fresh air, and green space in Henrico County. HCAN disbanded in 2024 after years of successful and generative organizing campaigns and is no longer active.
